Located in a quiet San Diego neighborhood, the homeowner wanted a timeless coastal look without a beachy feel.  Jen Ruder Designs created a new space plan keeping the client's grand piano and grandfather clock as part of the footprint. Sometimes it’s difficult to keep all those pieces in a room but we carefully considered each piece and its role in the room. We selected a blue patterned rug which was the starting point for our design palette. A classic English roll arm sofa with high performance fabric was a must for this pet-friendly home.
